Doginal Dogs — Active Continuity + Infrastructure Restoration

A collection of 10,000 hand-curated pixel dogs was released as a free mint. No primary capital was raised from participants. Inscription costs were covered by the project team. All assets were permanently inscribed on Dogecoin.

Unlike the majority of contemporaneous projects, the team did not extract at launch and did not abandon the protocol. Instead they began constructing missing infrastructure.

After multiple early infrastructure providers reduced activity or formally wound down, Doginal Dogs rebuilt the indexer from the ground up as native Dogecoin tooling and launched its own marketplace. The indexer received substantial upgrades relative to prior abandoned versions.

These efforts restored reliable reading of inscriptions from genesis and provided a functional trading venue after other platforms had degraded or exited. In practical terms, continued maintenance of open, upgraded infrastructure by the Doginal Dogs team is what kept the Doginals protocol usable for the broader community after the wave of abandonments.

The team maintained unbroken public activity, daily accountability, and real-world delivery (merchandise, events, physical products) while most other projects had already exited or collapsed into low-trust status.

Under DHAP, Doginal Dogs is recorded as the project that refused to abandon the protocol, rebuilt critical tooling after others walked away, and thereby preserved functional Doginals infrastructure for the remaining community.
